¡Todo! El nombre es lo primero que te preguntan cuando te conocen. Forma parte intrínseca de lo que somos, de cómo nos sentimos y de cómo nos proyectamos. Cuando iniciamos la transición tenemos el privilegio (más o menos) de elegir el nombre que queremos. Nunca me había gustado mi nombre tanto como ahora; me encanta cuando oigo mi nuevo nombre, mi verdadero nombre, o cuanto me preguntan ¿cuál es tu nombre? y contesto todo feliz: CRIS.
En Costa Rica, la legislación únicamente nos permite cambiar el nombre por otro nombre del mismo género. Por suerte, podemos utilizar el CC de la cédula de identidad para empezar nuestro cambio de identidad. Ahora, tengo entendido que la aceptación del CC depende exclusivamente del humor de la persona que nos está atendiendo en registro. Yo no tuve inconvenientes, pero el cambio no fue muy drástico.
De acuerdo a la filosofía Kabalariana, Cris signfica todo esto: (creo que tienen razón)
